Revenue Statistics of Chinese Taxes in Some Years

Note：

　　1．The tax revenue and the fiscal revenue statistics in this table are based on the final budget of the Ministry of Finance．The GDP statistics are from the State Statistic Bureau．The data in 2004 are the primary statistics．

　　2．From 1983，the tax revenue includes the income tax paid by the State owned enterprises．Before paying income tax，the State owned enterprises handed over profits to the State．

　　3．In 1985，the tax revenue exceeds the fiscal revenue for the reason that the excessive amount of losses of enterprises largely reduces the fiscal revenue．

4．The statistics in this book do not include those for Hong Kong，Macao and Taiwan．
